Stree 2 Advance Box Office Collection: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer to gain a mega box office opening this Independence Day release.

The advance booking of the horror comedy was opened last weekend (on 10th and 11th August). The movie, which is all set to release in theatres on 15th August, is all set to create a history. Film Trade Analyst Sumit Kadel shared in a tweet on Sunday that 45000 tickets at national chains have been sold out for Day 1. The movie is all set to gain Rs 30-35 crore opening on the first day of its release.

As per a report by Sacnilk, Amar Kaushik's directorial 1,24,402 tickets across India for 15th August. The report also suggested that the film has already collected Rs 4.09 crore net for its first day.

As the news was shared by the renowned trade analyst, fans were quick to react it. A fan wrote, "Blockbuster loading." The much-awaited sequel of Stree will showcase that Chanderi has been haunted again. Women are being mysteriously abducted by a headless entity. This time again Rajkummar's character Vicky and his friend will be seen saving the town. Apart from Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the movie also stars Flora Saini, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Raaz and Aakash Dabhade in key roles. The Horror Comedy will be released in theatres on 15th August and will clash with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa.
