The dates have been announced for re-conducting the constable recruitment exam which was canceled due to paper leak. The exam will be conducted on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August 2024 for recruitment to 60244 posts.

 

Police Constable Exam Date: It has been decided by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board to conduct the written examination for Direct Recruitment-2023 for 60244 posts of Constable Civil Police on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August 2024. The examination will be conducted in two shifts daily and about five lakh candidates will appear in the examination in each shift.

Let us tell you that this examination which was held earlier was cancelled due to paper leak. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said that this examination will be conducted again within six months keeping in view the highest standards of purity and transparency.

This program has been announced by the Uttar Pradesh government in the sequence of its commitment to conduct this examination in a transparent manner according to the highest standards within a fixed time frame.

In relation to conducting the selection process in a transparent and fair manner, detailed guidelines have been issued by the Uttar Pradesh Government on 19.06.2024 for various arrangements related to the examination such as preparation of the examination, selection of examination centers, verification of the candidates, prevention of impersonation. This examination is being conducted according to all these standards.

Tampering with the purity of examinations will result in life imprisonment and a fine of one crore rupees

The Uttar Pradesh Government has notified the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Ordinance-2024 (Uttar Pradesh Ordinance No. 6, 2024) dated July 01, 2024 to prevent unfair means in public examinations, such as leaking of question papers, tampering with answer sheets, etc. This Act provides that under this Act, using unfair means in the examination, copying or causing copying, cloning or revealing or conspiring to reveal the question paper, etc. come under the category of crime. Which is punishable under this Act. In such cases, there can be both a fine of up to one crore and a punishment of up to life imprisonment.

Candidates will be able to travel by bus for free by showing their admit card.

The exam will be conducted in two shifts every day and about five lakh candidates will appear for the exam in each shift. Candidates appearing for the exam will have the facility of free bus service of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. Candidates can avail this facility as per their convenience, for which candidates travelling by bus will have to download two additional copies of their admit card and present one copy to the bus conductor for travelling to the district of the exam centre and the other copy for travelling to their district after the exam.
