ITR Filing: The Income Tax Department has fixed July 31 as the last date for filing income tax. If you file income tax after this, you will have to pay a fine. Those who have already filed ITR have started getting refunds. At the same time, many taxpayers are waiting for the refund. Usually the refund comes within 4-5 weeks from the date of filing the return, but sometimes the refund can get stuck due to some reasons. Know here the reasons for the delay and the way to check the refund status.

These mistakes can be the reason for the refund getting stuck

To get a refund, you not only have to file your income tax return, but also get it e-verified. Your return will not be processed until you e-verify your ITR. After e-verification, it may take 4-5 weeks for the refund to arrive. So do not forget to do this. Apart from e-verification, refund can also get stuck due to some mistakes like Aadhaar not being linked to PAN, not responding to emails sent by the Income Tax Department, TDS not matching, your account number or IFSC code being wrong, etc.
