CBSE Class 12th Biology Deleted Syllabus 2025: CBSE has updated and removed several topics from the latest syllabus of CBSE Class 12th for the academic year 2024-25.

CBSE Class 12th Biology Deleted Syllabus 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been doing new experiments regarding board examinations for the last few years. During this, the board has removed some topics from many subjects and added many new topics. CBSE has updated and removed many subjects from the latest syllabus of CBSE Class 12th for the academic year 2024-25. Biology subject is an important subject for the students of Bio stream of CBSE Board Class 12th. Most of the students making a career in medical stream choose this subject. In such a situation, it is important for the students of CBSE Board 12th Bio to have knowledge of the correct syllabus of Biology. It is very important for the students appearing in CBSE 12th board exam next year to know which topics have been removed or added from the Biology subject.

CBSE 12th Paper

CBSE Class 12th Biology paper is for a total of 70 marks. It consists of questions for 16 marks from Reproduction, 20 marks from Genetics and Evolution, 12 marks from Biology and Human Welfare, 12 marks from Biotechnology and its Applications and 10 marks from Ecology and Environment in CBSE Class 12th Biology subject.

CBSE 12th Deleted Syllabus 2025

Reproduction, Ecology and Environment topics have been removed from CBSE Class 12th Biology subject. Unit-VI Reproduction, Chapter-1 Reproduction in Organisms Reproduction is a characteristic feature of all organisms for the continuation of species; Modes of reproduction – asexual and sexual reproduction; Asexual reproduction – binary fission, spore formation, budding, gemmae formation, fragmentation; Vegetative propagation in plants.

Environmental issues from Unit-X Ecology and Environment, Chapter-16 Air pollution and its control; Water pollution and its control; Agricultural chemicals and their effects; Solid waste management; Radioactive waste management; Greenhouse effect and climate change effects and mitigation; Ozone layer depletion; Deforestation; Any one case study as a success story addressing environmental issue(s). Along with this, many things have been removed from experiments and practicals from 12th Bio syllabus.
