The Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) has announced a recruitment drive for around 391 vacancies. It is set to be held for various positions like Junior Engineer, Foreman, Junior Chemist, Junior Superintendent (Official Language), Junior Accountant, Technical Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Business Assistant, Operator (Chemical), and Technician.

Eligibility Criteria:

Junior Engineer and Foreman: Candidates who wish to apply for these positions should have a diploma degree in the relevant branch of engineering with a minimum mark of 60 per cent from any recognised university or institution. For Junior Engineers candidates must have an experience of 8 years while for Foreman positions experience of 2 years is required.

Junior Superintendent: People applying for this position must have a Bachelor's degree in Hindi Literature/Hindi with a minimum of 55 per cent marks. The person should also have Hindi among the subjects.

Junior Chemist: Candidates should have an MSc degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 55 per cent. The candidates should also have two years of work experience.

Junior Accountant: People applying for this position must have CA/ICWA or M.Com with a minimum of 60 per cent marks. They should also be proficient in working with computers and know MS Office, among other skills.

Operator (Chemical): For this position, the candidates must have a BSc degree in Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics with a minimum of 55 per cent marks.

Business Assistant: The candidates should have a BBA or BBM degree with minimum marks of 55 per cent and a year of work experience.
